Yu  He, Ph.D., CFA

Welcome to my homepage! I am Yu He.

Beginning in August 2026, I will be an Assistant Professor of Finance at James Madison University. I am a CFA charterholder and earned my Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. I also hold Special Sworn Status as a researcher with the U.S. Census Bureau. 

My primary research focuses on fixed-income market efficiency, exchange-traded funds, disclosure regulation, market microstructure, and corporate innovation. My research has been presented at various international conferences and published in academic journals. Before pursuing my doctoral studies, I earned a Master’s degree in Finance from Case Western Reserve University.
